Eligibility Criteria
- Trade Apprentice: ITI pass in the relevant trade from a government-recognised institute.
- Technician Apprentice: Diploma in the relevant discipline from a government-recognised institute.
- Graduate Apprentice: Degree in the relevant discipline from a government-recognised university or institute.
- The qualifying examination must have been passed in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026, and the result must be available by the application closing date.
- Age limit: 18 to 28 years as on 31 October 2026.

ITI trade candidates must apply through the Apprenticeship India portal; graduate and diploma candidates must apply through the NATS portal.
- Visit the Apprenticeship India portal (ITI trades) or the NATS portal (graduate/diploma).
- Register as a candidate or student and log in with your credentials.
- Search for the establishment — “SAIL BHILAI STEEL PLANT” on the Apprenticeship India portal, or “Steel Authority of India Limited, Bhilai Steel Plant” on NATS.
- Select your eligible trade or discipline and submit the application.
- Keep a printout or copy of the submitted application for future reference.
- Attend the walk-in selection at BSP as per your trade/discipline schedule between 27 October and 21 November 2026.
