IBPS Clerk does not have a separate typing test — selection is through prelims and mains only. However, the mains exam tests computer knowledge and English, and the job itself is computer-based. Some individual banks conduct a computer proficiency check during document verification. Always go by the official IBPS notification for the current year’s selection stages.
