SSC CHSL starts with a Tier-1 computer-based test covering English, general intelligence, quantitative aptitude and general awareness.
Tier-2 includes objective sections and, for some posts, a data entry or typing skill test.
The skill test is qualifying in nature — you must meet the prescribed speed standard.
