IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – 335 Posts in Western Region, Apply by 4 November

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has opened applications for 335 apprentice posts in its Marketing Division, Western Region, for the year 2026–27. 🛢️ The recruitment covers seven states and union territories — Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and Daman & Diu. Online applications started on 5 October 2026 and the last date to apply is 4 November 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

• Technician Apprentice: 3-year regular full-time diploma in the relevant engineering discipline, with at least 50% marks for General/EWS/OBC-NCL candidates and 45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
• Trade Apprentice: Matriculation plus a regular full-time 2-year ITI in the relevant trade, recognised by NCVT or SCVT.
• Graduate Apprentice: Regular full-time graduation in any discipline (such as BA, B.Com, B.Sc or BBA), with at least 50% marks for General/EWS/OBC-NCL and 45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
• DEO (Fresher): Class 12th passed (below graduate level), with at least 50% marks for General/EWS/OBC-NCL and 45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
• DEO (Skill Certificate Holder): Class 12th passed plus a Domestic Data Entry Operator skill certificate under NSQF or a Central Government recognised body.
• Age limit: 18 to 24 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit applies for reserved categories as per rules.
• Part-time, correspondence or distance-learning qualifications are not eligible.
• Candidates holding higher qualifications such as B.E./B.Tech, MBA, MCA, CA, ICWA or LLB are not eligible for these apprentice posts.

Selection Process

There is no written examination and no interview in this recruitment. Selection is fully merit-based:

1. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification.
2. Shortlisted candidates will go through document verification.
3. Candidates must clear a pre-engagement medical fitness test.
4. An offer of engagement will be issued after successful verification and medical fitness.

Important: Apply against only one discipline code. Applying for more than one discipline code can lead to the rejection of all your applications.

3. Search for “Indian Oil Corporation Limited (Marketing Division) – Western Region”.
4. Select the notified opportunity with the correct discipline code for your qualification.
5. Check the eligibility and vacancy details carefully before proceeding.
6. Enter the required details, upload documents and submit the application.
