The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened online applications for the SWAYAM 2026 examination under the Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds programme. Candidates can submit their forms from 9 October 2026, and the last date to apply online is 31 October 2026.
The SWAYAM exams will be held on 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 December 2026 in proctored mode. Students enrolled in UG, PG or certificate courses can register and appear for the examination to earn credit for their completed courses.

Overview
SWAYAM is the government’s online learning platform offering courses from Class 9 level up to postgraduate programmes. NTA conducts the proctored end-term examination for these courses, and the scores help learners transfer credits to their academic records.
The registration process for the December 2026 session is now live on the NTA SWAYAM portal. Candidates must complete the application, fee payment and correction steps within the announced schedule.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the qualification required for the course they are registered in:
- UG Courses: Passed 10+2 from any recognised board in India.
- PG Courses: Completed a bachelor’s degree from any recognised university in India.
- Certificate Courses: Passed 10+2 from any recognised board in India.
Age limit: As per NTA rules — candidates should check the official notification for the applicable age criteria.
