NABARD Specialist Recruitment 2026 – 16 Posts for Cyber Security & IT Experts, Apply by 26 Oct

Overview

The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has opened applications for its Specialist Recruitment 2026, inviting experienced professionals in cyber security, network security, IT infrastructure and banking technology to join the country’s apex rural development bank.

A total of 16 specialist posts are on offer, spread across the Chief Information Security Office (CISO) and the Department of Supervision (DoS) – CSITE. Online applications began on 9 October 2026, and the last date to apply is 26 October 2026.

Vacancy Details

NABARD will fill 16 specialist positions in two departments. The post-wise breakup is given below.

The annual pay package ranges from Rs 12 lakh to Rs 40 lakh depending on the post — for example, SOC Analyst and Information Security Analyst are in the Rs 12–18 lakh band, while the Lead Auditor post goes up to Rs 40 lakh per annum.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational qualification, certifications and experience differ by post. All eligibility conditions are determined as on 1 October 2026. In brief:

• SOC Analyst: B.E./B.Tech in CS, CE, IT, ECE, IS, Electrical or Cyber Security, or MCA, or PG degree in CS/IT/Cyber Security/Information Security/Computer Engineering/Information Systems/Software Engineering/ECE with at least 60% marks, plus CompTIA Security+, CEH or equivalent certification.
• Information Security Analyst: Same degree requirement with 60% marks, plus CISA, CISM, CISSP or equivalent certification in information security, IT risk or compliance.
• Network Security Analyst: Same degree requirement with 60% marks, plus CCNP Security or equivalent network/infrastructure security certification.
• Ethical Hacker & Penetration Tester: Same degree requirement with 60% marks, plus CEH, OSCP, ECSA or equivalent penetration-testing certification.
• Lead Auditor: B.E./B.Tech in CSE/ECE/IT, or a bachelor’s in any discipline with a master’s in CS/IT/ECE, plus CISA and at least one of CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or Lead Implementer.
• Cyber & Network Security Specialist: B.E./B.Tech in CSE/ECE/IT, or a bachelor’s in any discipline with a master’s in CS/IT/ECE, plus CISA and at least one of CCNA, CCNP, CEH or CISM.
• IT Infrastructure & Banking Specialist: B.E./B.Tech in CSE/ECE/IT, or a bachelor’s in any discipline with a master’s in CS/IT/ECE, plus CISA and at least one of CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or PCI DSS implementation certification.
• Cyber Security Analyst: B.E./B.Tech in CSE/ECE/IT, or a bachelor’s in any discipline with a master’s in CS/IT/ECE, plus at least one certification from CEH, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, database certification (Oracle/Microsoft SQL) or cloud certification (AWS/GCP/Microsoft Azure/Oracle).

Candidates will be shortlisted for interview in a 1:3 ratio based on qualification, experience and other criteria. Selection is through an interview, and shortlisted candidates must undergo a pre-recruitment medical examination. Final appointment is subject to being declared medically fit.

3. Click “New Registration” and enter your name, contact details and email ID to receive your registration number and password.
4. Fill in the application form, using “SAVE AND NEXT” to verify your details as you go.
5. Upload your photograph, signature, left thumb impression, handwritten declaration, latest CV/resume and proof of current cost-to-company.
6. Complete the fee payment through the “Payment” tab.
7. Click “COMPLETE REGISTRATION” after checking all details carefully.
8. Download and print the e-receipt and the completed application form for your records.
