AIIMS NORCET 11 Stage-II Result 2026 Out – 2,218 Nursing Officer Posts, Check Merit List

Overview

AIIMS New Delhi conducts the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) every year to fill Nursing Officer posts across AIIMS institutes and other participating hospitals. For NORCET-11, the Stage-I preliminary examination was held on 12 September 2026, and candidates who cleared it appeared in the Stage-II mains examination on 30 September 2026. The Stage-II result has been declared on 10 October 2026. Final selection is based on Stage-II performance, merit list and successful document verification.

Vacancy Details

A total of 2,218 Nursing Officer posts are on offer across 27 participating institutes. The vacancy count is provisional and may change. In participating AIIMS institutes, 80% of seats are reserved for female candidates and 20% for male candidates, as per applicable recruitment rules.

Selected candidates are appointed in Pay Level-07 of the 7th CPC pay matrix, drawing a salary of Rs 44,900 – Rs 1,42,400 per month, along with Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), medical facilities, leave benefits and pension benefits as per applicable rules.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing, B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an institute or university recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) or the State Nursing Council. Candidates with a Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) must additionally have at least 2 years of experience in a 50-bedded hospital after obtaining the qualification.
• Nursing Registration: Must be registered as a Nurse & Midwife with the State Nursing Council or the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years.

1. Visit the official AIIMS examination website at aiimsexams.ac.in.
2. Go to the NORCET-11 candidate login / result section.
3. Log in using your registration credentials.
4. Open the Stage-II result link and download the result PDF.
5. Check your roll number in the merit list and take a printout for future reference.
