Overview
The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) has released the official notification for the recruitment of Head Constable (Motor Mechanic) – 2026. Eligible male Indian citizens (including subjects of Nepal or Bhutan) can apply online for these 21 Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted vacancies. Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: 10+2 (Intermediate) pass from a recognized Board or Institution.
- Technical Qualification (any one): Certificate in Motor Mechanic from a recognized institution or Industrial Training Institute (ITI) with 3 years of practical experience in the trade in a reputed workshop, OR 3-Year Diploma in Automobile Engineering.
- Age Limit (as on 27 October 2026): Minimum 18 Years, Maximum 25 Years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per ITBP / Government of India recruitment rules.
