Pay scale: Rs. 35,400–1,12,400 (Level-06), a Group-C government job with allowances as per government rules.
Eligibility Criteria
- Direct Recruitment: Bachelor’s degree in Biology / Agriculture / Animal Husbandry from a recognized university.
- Departmental candidates: 5 years of service plus Intermediate with Biology / Agriculture.
- Domicile: Uttarakhand Resident Certificate is mandatory.
- Registration: Registration with the Uttarakhand Employment Office is required.
- Desirable: NCC / NSS certificates are considered desirable.
Age Limit (as on 01 July 2026):
- Minimum age: 21 years
- Maximum age (General): 42 years
- SC / ST / OBC candidates: 5 years relaxation
- Divyang candidates: 10 years relaxation
- Freedom Fighter dependants: 5 years relaxation
- Ex-Servicemen: as per government rules

How to Download the Admit Card
- Visit the official UKSSSC website or the direct admit card link given below.
- Click on the “Admit Card” / “Download Hall Ticket” section.
- Enter your login credentials (registration ID / roll number and date of birth or password).
- Verify all details on the admit card carefully, including the examination date, reporting time, exam centre, and your personal details.
- Download the hall ticket and take a clear printout.
- Carry the printed admit card along with a valid photo identification to the examination centre.
Exam Pattern and Selection Process
The selection process has three stages:
- Written Examination
- Document Verification
- Final Merit List
The written exam is an objective MCQ-based test of 100 questions for 100 marks in 2 hours, covering Biology, Agriculture and Animal Husbandry. There is negative marking of 1/4 marks for each wrong answer. Minimum qualifying marks are 45% for UR/OBC/EWS and 35% for SC/ST candidates.
