Oil India Limited, the Navratna public sector oil and gas company, has released advertisement number HRAQ/REC-EX-B/2026-03 for the recruitment of executives in 2026. The openings span research, mechanical and petroleum engineering, accounts, official language and secretarial roles.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualifications and experience differ from post to post. The main requirements are:
- Superintending Research Scientist: PhD along with a Master’s degree in a related subject such as Chemistry, Geology, Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering, plus at least 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Senior Officer (Mechanical): 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 65% marks.
- Senior Officer (Petroleum): Master’s degree (minimum 2-year course) in Petroleum Engineering or Technology with at least 60% marks; an engineering qualification at the graduate level is also required.
- Senior Accounts Officer / Senior Internal Auditor: Associate membership of ICAI or ICMAI.
- Hindi Officer: Postgraduate degree in Hindi with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Confidential Secretary: Graduate degree with a diploma in secretarial practice, modern office management, executive assistant or an equivalent field, plus at least 2 years of relevant experience and computer knowledge.
Pay scales: Grade A – ₹50,000 to ₹1,60,000; Grade B – ₹60,000 to ₹1,80,000; Grade C – ₹80,000 to ₹2,20,000.
