The selection process consists of a written examination, a skill or practical examination, experience evaluation, a final merit list, and document verification.
- Technical posts: 120 marks, 2 hours — General Knowledge (India and Chhattisgarh) 10, General Hindi 10, General English 10, General Mathematics and Logical Ability 10, Relevant Subject Knowledge 80. No negative marking.
- Assistant Grade-3, DEO and Store Keeper: 120 marks, 2 hours — General Knowledge (India and Chhattisgarh) 30, General Hindi 20, General English 20, General Mathematics and Logical Ability 30, Basic Computer Knowledge 20. No negative marking.
- Peon: 100 marks, 2 hours — General Knowledge of Chhattisgarh 30, General Hindi 20, General English 20, General Mathematics and Logical Ability 30. No negative marking.
