DRDO MTS selection has two tiers: Tier-I is a computer-based test covering general intelligence and reasoning, numerical aptitude, general awareness and English. Shortlisted candidates take Tier-II, which is trade or post specific. There is no interview. The final merit is based on Tier-I and Tier-II marks, followed by document verification.
