Overview
Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Eastern Railway has announced the Cultural Quota Recruitment 2026 for talented artists. Under this recruitment, 2 Group ‘C’ posts will be filled — one post for Classical Dance and one post for Drama (Acting/Direction).
The notification was released on 29 September 2026. Candidates holding the prescribed educational qualification along with a Degree/Diploma/Certificate in the respective cultural discipline can apply online from 9 October 2026. Selection will be made through a written test, a talent assessment in the relevant art form, and a medical examination.

Selection Process
- Stage-I: Written Test — 50 marks (minimum 40% to qualify)
- Stage-II: Talent Assessment — 50 marks (Practical Demonstration 35 marks + Testimonials/Prizes 15 marks; minimum 40% to qualify)
- Medical Examination — mandatory after the selection stages

- Click on the “Online/E-Application for Cultural Quota/2026-27” link.
- Select the “New Registration” option and enter your name, father’s name, date of birth, community, email ID and mobile number.
- Complete registration and note the registration number and password received via SMS/email.
- Log in with your registration credentials and fill in all the required details in the application form.
- Upload your photograph, signature, LTI, and the required educational, technical, caste and cultural qualification documents, along with other applicable certificates and declarations.
- Pay the application fee according to your category.
- Check all entered details carefully before submitting the form.
- Submit the application form before 8 November 2026, 6:00 PM, and download a copy of the submitted application for future reference.
