Overview
The Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) has declared the provisional result of the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (CHSLE) 2026. The written examination was held for 207 Group C vacancies across nine posts, with the highest number of openings — 89 — for the Stockman post.
Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the provisional merit list will move to the next stage. For Data Entry Operator, Junior Secretariat Assistant and Lower Division Clerk, the next stage is a skill test, tentatively scheduled for 10 October 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
The minimum qualification for most posts is Class 12th pass. Post-wise requirements:
- Agriculture Field Assistant (Jr): Class 12th (Science stream)
- Data Entry Operator (DEO): 12th pass + 35 WPM typing + 6-month computer diploma
- Field Assistant: 12th with Mathematics/Geography OR ITI Survey course
- Fishery Demonstrator: 12th Science with Biology
- Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): 12th pass + 35 WPM typing + 6-month computer diploma
- Laboratory Assistant: 12th Science (diploma in Laboratory Technology preferred)
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 12th pass + 35 WPM typing + 6-month computer diploma
- Record Keeper / Record Clerk: 12th pass + 1-year computer diploma
- Stockman: 12th Science pass
Age limit: 18 to 35 years overall. Post-wise upper limits: 18–32 years for Agriculture Field Assistant (Jr), DEO, JSA and LDC; 18–28 years for Record Keeper / Record Clerk; 18–35 years for Field Assistant, Fishery Demonstrator, Laboratory Assistant and Stockman.
