ESIC Hospital Korba Recruitment 2026 – 31 Specialist & Senior Resident Posts, Walk-in Interview on 14 Oct

The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Hospital in Korba, Chhattisgarh, has invited applications for 31 contractual posts of Specialist and Senior Resident across its medical departments. 📋 Interested and eligible doctors can apply by email or by submitting the application form in person at the hospital by 10 October 2026.

The selection will be through a walk-in interview scheduled on 14 October 2026 at ESIC Hospital, Korba. Monthly remuneration goes up to ₹1,14,955 depending on the post.

Vacancy Details

Specialist vacancies are spread across departments including Anesthesiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chest (Pulmonary Medicine), Dermatology & STD, ENT, OBS & Gyne, Orthopedics, Paediatrics, Radiology, General Surgery, Psychiatry and Dental.

Senior Resident vacancies are spread across Anesthesiology, Pathology, Chest Medicine, Dermatology, ENT, Eye, General Medicine, OBG & Gynae, Orthopedics, Paediatrics, Radiology and Surgery.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Full Time Specialist: MBBS with a PG Degree or equivalent / PG Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognised university, along with registration with the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council.
• Part Time Specialist: MBBS with a PG Degree / PG Diploma in the concerned specialty and the required medical registration. Non-PG doctors with at least 2 years of experience after MBBS in the same discipline may also be eligible.
• Senior Resident: MBBS with a PG Degree / PG Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognised university and registration with MCI / NMC / State Medical Council. Non-PG doctors with at least 2 years of experience after MBBS in the same discipline may also be eligible.

Preference may be given to candidates with postgraduate qualifications and experience in government medical institutions, as per the recruitment conditions.

Age Limit

Age is counted with reference to the date of the walk-in interview.

Salary Details

Part time specialists willing to perform emergency call duty may receive an additional ₹15,000 per emergency visit and ₹800 per hour for additional duty beyond 16 hours per week, as per the prescribed conditions.

Selection Process

1. Submission of the duly filled application form within the deadline.
2. Walk-in interview on 14 October 2026 at ESIC Hospital, Korba.

Candidates must carry their original certificates and documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies for verification at the time of the interview.

How to Apply

2. Fill out the application form completely in block / capital letters in your own handwriting.
3. Attach self-attested copies of all educational and experience certificates.
4. Attach the required caste / EWS certificate, wherever applicable, and two recent passport-size photographs.
5. Submit the application by email or hand-deliver the hard copy to the Office of MS, ESIC Hospital Korba.
6. Ensure the application reaches the concerned office by 10 October 2026 up to 12:30 PM.
7. Appear for the walk-in interview on 14 October 2026 with all original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies.
