Overview

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), India’s public-sector aerospace and defence company, is engaging Junior Executives on a short-term basis for a maximum period of three years. A total of 150 posts are on offer across nine engineering disciplines, with Mechanical Engineering accounting for the largest share at 78 posts. There is no written examination in this recruitment — selection is through shortlisting on engineering degree marks followed by an interview. Selected candidates are placed in the E0 pay scale of Rs 30,000 – Rs 1,20,000.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational qualification: Regular / full-time B.E. / B.Tech in the relevant engineering discipline (for example, Computer Science covers CS, IT, Software, AI, ML and Cyber Security streams).
• Age limit: Maximum 28 years for unreserved categories; age relaxation applies to reserved categories as per rules.

1. Shortlisting — based on aggregate marks in the qualifying engineering degree (up to a 1:10 ratio).
2. Interview — qualifying marks 50% (with applicable relaxation).
3. Final selection — based on interview performance.
