Overview
The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released the official notification for Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) Recruitment 2026. A total of 758 vacancies have been announced — 750 in Civil Engineering and 8 in Mechanical Engineering.
Applications will be accepted online only through the official website opsc.gov.in, from 22 October 2026 to 11 November 2026. Selection will be made on a valid GATE 2024, 2025 or 2026 score carrying 90% weightage, followed by an interview carrying 10% weightage. There is no written examination in this recruitment.
Selected candidates will be placed in the Level-12 Pay Matrix with a monthly pay of ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500, basic pay fixed as per ORSP Rules, 2017, along with DA, HRA and other government allowances.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a B.E./B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering (for AEE Civil) or Mechanical Engineering (for AEE Mechanical), or AMIE in the relevant branch. A valid GATE score in the corresponding paper is mandatory.
- GATE Requirement: GATE 2024, GATE 2025 or GATE 2026 scores are accepted. The GATE score carries 90% weightage in the selection.
