The biggest trade-wise shares are for Refrigeration & Air Conditioner Technician (89), Electrician (76), Fitter (68), Plumber (58), Welder (51), Wood Work Technician (47), Mechanic Tractor (35), Machinist (34), Electronics Mechanic (32), Turner (30), Draughtsman Civil (29) and Surveyor (12). Reservation and category-wise classification for each trade are as per the demand letters received from the concerned department and may change at any stage.
Eligibility Criteria
- Class 10th pass with Science & Mathematics, plus a Degree (B.E./B.Tech/B.Voc) or a 3-year Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline for Annexure-A posts. A B.Tech in the related stream with one year of experience is also accepted.
- NTC/NAC qualification in the relevant trade for Annexure-B posts, as prescribed in the official notification.
- Age Limit: 18 to 37 years. Age relaxation applies as per Punjab government rules.
- Pay: as per Punjab Government Rules (Group-B), with DA, HRA, medical and other admissible allowances.
