For central government jobs you need a central OBC (non-creamy layer) certificate, regardless of which state issued it.
For state government jobs, most states require the certificate to be issued by their own authorities in the state format.
A certificate issued by one state is generally not valid for another state’s recruitment.
Always check the certificate format and issuing authority required in the official notification.
