For most SSC notifications you submit only one application, and post preferences are collected within that single form. Filling multiple applications for the same exam can lead to rejection of all your applications. Read the notification carefully — it states whether separate applications are allowed. Your final post allocation happens through the option-cum-preference exercised during the process. When in doubt, apply once and choose preferences carefully.
