Yes, HRA (House Rent Allowance) is paid along with the salary for SSC CGL posts, but only if you do not take government accommodation.
The HRA rate depends on the city category — X, Y or Z class cities get different percentages of basic pay.
If you are allotted government quarters, HRA is not paid.
Apart from HRA, central government employees also get Dearness Allowance (DA) and Travel Allowance (TA).
