The SSC MTS computer-based exam has two sessions conducted on the same day.
Session-1 is qualifying in nature and covers numerical ability, reasoning, English and general awareness.
Session-2 is the merit-deciding paper with more questions on the same subjects.
There is no negative marking in Session-1; Session-2 carries negative marking for wrong answers.
