It depends on the post. Most RRB NTPC posts do not have a typing test — selection is through CBT-1 and CBT-2, followed by CBAT for posts like Station Master or a typing skill test for certain clerical posts. The typing test, where applicable, is qualifying in nature. The exact stage-wise scheme for each post is given in the official RRB NTPC notification, so check the post you applied for.
