After the final result, SSC nominates you to the department you were allocated. The department issues an offer of appointment and a joining letter. You then complete pre-appointment formalities like medical examination, document verification and police verification. The joining date is fixed by the department. Keep all your documents ready and respond promptly to every communication from the department.
