SSC GD is the common exam that recruits GD Constables for all central armed police forces, including CRPF, BSF, CISF, SSB, ITBP and Assam Rifles. A CRPF Constable (GD) is one of the posts filled through this same SSC GD exam — the force you join depends on your merit and preference. CRPF also conducts some direct recruitments through its own notifications for tradesman and other posts.
