CTET has two papers with different eligibility. Paper 1 (classes I to V) needs senior secondary plus a D.El.Ed or equivalent teacher-training qualification.
Paper 2 (classes VI to VIII) needs graduation plus B.Ed or an equivalent qualification, as per NCTE norms.
Candidates appearing in the final year of their teacher-training course can also apply.
