The NDA written exam has two objective papers: Mathematics and the General Ability Test (GAT).
Mathematics carries 300 marks and the GAT carries 600 marks.
Wrong answers carry one-third negative marking in both papers.
Candidates who clear the written exam are called for the five-day SSB interview.
A medical examination follows the SSB for recommended candidates.
