PET stands for Physical Efficiency Test and PST stands for Physical Standard Test.
PST checks your height, weight and chest measurements against the required standards.
PET tests your physical fitness through events like running, long jump and high jump with set timings.
Both are common in police, paramilitary and railway recruitments after the written exam.
The exact standards for each exam are given in its official notification.
