After the PET and PST, SSC GD candidates go through a Detailed Medical Examination.
It is held at designated hospitals and checks vision, hearing, blood pressure and general fitness.
Candidates with disqualifying conditions are declared unfit.
Unfit candidates can appeal to a review medical board within the given time.
