The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for UP Police Constable is a timed race, with a more relaxed qualifying time for female candidates than for male candidates.
The exact distance and qualifying time for each category are given in the official UP Police notification.
PET is qualifying in nature — it does not add marks to the merit list.
Candidates who fail the race timing are disqualified from the recruitment.
Practice on a proper track before the test date.
