The SSC GD PET includes a timed race, with separate distance and time standards for male and female candidates. Relaxation in standards is given to reserved categories and ex-servicemen as per the notification. PET is qualifying in nature — its marks do not count in the final merit. Check the official SSC GD notification for the exact standards.
