An IBPS Clerk is placed at the clerical cadre pay scale of public sector banks. In-hand salary includes basic pay plus dearness allowance, house rent allowance and other bank allowances. The take-home amount varies by posting city because of HRA differences. Clerks also get periodic increments and are eligible for promotion exams to officer grade.
