An Indian Navy Agniveer starts with a monthly package of Rs. 30,000 in the first year, rising each year of the four-year service. A part of the monthly package goes into the Agniveer Corpus Fund (Seva Nidhi), which the government matches. On completion of service, the Seva Nidhi amount is paid out with interest.
