The SSC MTS computer-based exam tests four areas: Numerical and Mathematical Ability, Reasoning Ability and Problem Solving, English Language and Comprehension, and General Awareness. There is no interview or descriptive paper. The level is roughly Class 10 standard. The final selection is on CBT marks followed by document verification.
