SSC Stenographer Tier-1 is a computer-based test with three sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Language and Comprehension. After Tier-1 comes the Skill Test in stenography — dictation and transcription at the speed prescribed for Grade C or Grade D. There is no interview.
