SSC CHSL’s skill test for LDC and JSA posts is a typing test with a minimum speed requirement given in the official notification. The test is qualifying in nature — you must clear it, but its marks do not add to the final merit. Practice at the required speed with decent accuracy, since too many errors can disqualify you. The exact speed standard can change between cycles, so confirm it from the current year’s official SSC notification.
