UPSSSC PET is an objective-type written exam with multiple-choice questions. It covers Indian history, the Indian national movement, geography, the Indian economy, general science, elementary arithmetic, general Hindi, general English, logic and reasoning, and current affairs including UP-specific general knowledge. There is negative marking for wrong answers. The PET score is used only for shortlisting candidates for the main recruitments.
