For central government jobs the OBC non-creamy layer certificate must be for the relevant financial year mentioned in the notification.
A certificate issued for an older financial year is usually not accepted.
It must be in the central government format and clearly show non-creamy layer status.
It must be valid on the cut-off date given in the advertisement.
Get it renewed every financial year if you keep applying for central recruitments.
