Overview
TANUVAS VCRI Udumalpet has released Notification No. 3190 / VCRI / Udumalpet / Recruitment / 2026 for engaging Assistant Professors on a whole-time basis with a consolidated salary of ₹57,700 per month. The engagement is purely temporary for 11 months, or until the posts are filled on a regular basis. There is no application fee for this recruitment.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: B.V.Sc & A.H / B.V.Sc with at least 60% marks (or equivalent grade), plus a Master’s degree in the concerned or relevant discipline with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent).
- Registration: Candidates must hold a valid registration certificate from the State Veterinary Council or the Veterinary Council of India (VCI).
- Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates who have qualified NET (ASRB / ICAR / UGC / CSIR) or SLET / SET. A working knowledge of Tamil is desirable.
- Age Limit: As per TANUVAS rules.
- Cut-off date for qualifications: 05 October 2026.

How to Apply
The application process has two steps: an email application followed by a walk-in interview.
- Email Application: Download the prescribed application form from the official TANUVAS notification and fill it completely in typewritten format or clear handwriting.
- Scan the duly filled application form along with self-attested copies of supporting documents (educational qualifications, experience, VCI registration, NET certificate, age proof, etc.).
- Email the scanned application package to recruitment@vcri-udumalpet.com on or before 05 October 2026, 5:00 PM.
- Walk-in Interview: All candidates who applied by email must appear in person on 09 October 2026 at 09:00 AM at VCRI, Kozhikuttai Village, Puthupalayam Post, Udumalpet Taluk, Tiruppur District – 642205.
- Bring the filled application form, all original certificates, and a set of photocopies for verification. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
