Overview
Under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) scheme, UP Anganwadi Worker Recruitment 2026 is being conducted district-wise across Uttar Pradesh. Districts covered so far include Fatehpur, Amroha, Amethi, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Jalaun, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Hathras and Kaushambi, among others.
The post of Anganwadi Worker (Karyakatri) is open only to female candidates. Applications are invited online, and there is no application fee for any category.

Eligibility Criteria
- Gender: Only female candidates are eligible for Anganwadi Worker posts.
- Education: Candidate must have passed the 10+2 (Intermediate) examination from a recognised board in India.
- Residence: The candidate must be a resident of the same village, ward or Nyaya Panchayat for which she applies.
- Age limit: Minimum 18 years, maximum 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per UP Government Anganwadi Bharti Worker recruitment rules.
