UP PGT Correction Form 2026 – Edit Window for 2,607 Teacher Posts, Correct by 21 October

📝 The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has opened the correction / edit window for the UP PGT Teacher Recruitment 2026. Candidates who submitted the online form for the 2,607 Post Graduate Teacher posts under Advt No 06/2026 can now fix mistakes in their application before the window closes on 21 October 2026.

Overview

UPESSC, Prayagraj released the UP PGT Teacher notification under Advertisement No 06/2026 for 2,607 Post Graduate Teacher posts in Uttar Pradesh secondary schools. The online application window ran from 18 September 2026 to 17 October 2026, and the written examination is scheduled for 15 and 16 December 2026.

Since the last date to register has passed, UPESSC has now activated the correction facility so applicants can edit errors in their submitted forms. No new registrations are being accepted — the window is only for correcting an already-submitted application.

Vacancy Details

The 2,607 posts are split between Balak (boys’ schools) and Balika (girls’ schools) posts, with reservation across General, OBC, EWS and SC categories:

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational qualification: Master’s Degree in the relevant subject. Subject-wise eligibility details are given in the official notification.
• Age limit as on 01/07/2026: minimum 21 years, maximum 62 years. Age relaxation applies as per the UPESSC PGT Teacher Examination Rules, Advt No 06/2026.
• Selection process: Written Examination, Interview (Viva-Voce), and Document Verification.

How to Edit / Correct the UP PGT Application Form

1. Visit the UPESSC apply portal and log in using the OTR registration details you used while submitting the form.
2. Open your submitted UP PGT Teacher (Advt 06/2026) application from the candidate dashboard.
3. Carefully check every field — personal details, photo, signature, subject choice and category — against your documents.
4. Make the required corrections in the editable fields and review the full preview before final submission.
5. Save the changes and take a printout of the corrected final application form for your records.
