Overview
The UPSSSC has activated the exam city intimation link for PET 2026. This slip tells you your allotted exam city, date and shift. It is not the admit card — the hall ticket will be released separately, closer to the exam.
PET 2026 is the mandatory qualifying test for candidates who want to appear in future Group B and Group C recruitments conducted by UPSSSC and other Uttar Pradesh government departments. A record 35.42 lakh candidates have registered for this year’s PET.
Eligibility Criteria
To appear in UPSSSC PET 2026, a candidate must have passed at least the Class 10 (High School) examination from a recognized board, or hold any higher qualification from a recognized university in India.

The examination will be held across 60 districts of Uttar Pradesh in two shifts each day — the morning shift from 10 AM to 12 noon, and the evening shift from 3 PM to 5 PM. The PET score card remains valid for 3 years.

How to Check Your Exam City
- Visit the official UPSSSC website at upsssc.gov.in.
- Open the “Examination” or “Notice Board / Important Alerts” section on the homepage.
- Click the link titled “UP PET 2026 Exam City Intimation Slip”.
- Enter your registration number and date of birth, then submit.
- Your allotted exam city, date and shift will appear on the screen — download and save the slip for reference.
- Remember: this slip is only for city information. Carry the actual admit card (once released) along with a valid photo ID to the examination centre.
