The Indian Army GD medical examination checks general fitness, vision, hearing, teeth and overall health at a designated military hospital. Candidates must meet the physical and medical standards given in the official notification. Those found temporarily unfit may be given time for a review medical. Candidates declared permanently unfit cannot proceed to the final merit list.
