The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has put out a short notice for the NTPC 10+2 Under Graduate (Inter Level) Recruitment 2026 under Advt. No. CEN 07/2026. A total of 1,688 posts are on offer for roles like Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk, Train Clerk, and Junior Clerk Cum Typist.

Overview
RRB’s Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Inter Level exam is the recruitment gateway for undergraduate-level railway posts across India. The recruitment is conducted at the national level by the various Railway Recruitment Boards under Centralised Employment Notice CEN 07/2026. Selection happens through CBT-1, CBT-2, skill/typing tests, document verification, and a medical examination.
Vacancy Details
Total: 1,688 posts — Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk, Train Clerk, Accounts Clerk Cum Typist, and Junior Clerk Cum Typist. Category-wise breakup (UR/EWS/OBC/SC/ST) is not given in the short notice and will be available in the detailed notification. Post-wise vacancy distribution: To be announced.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 (Intermediate) examination from a recognized board in India. General, OBC, and EWS candidates need at least 50% marks, while SC, ST, and PH candidates need only to have passed.
For typist posts (Accounts Clerk Cum Typist and Junior Clerk Cum Typist), typing proficiency of English 30 WPM or Hindi 25 WPM is required.
Age Limit (as on 01 January 2027): Minimum 18 years, Maximum 30 years. Age relaxation applicable as per RRB rules.

Fee refund: After appearing in the Stage-I exam, General/OBC candidates get ₹400 refunded, and other candidates get ₹250 refunded to their bank account. Payment can be made online via debit card, credit card, net banking, IMPS, cash card, or mobile wallet.
