SSC GD stands for Staff Selection Commission General Duty. The exam recruits constables for CAPFs like BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB and ITBP, plus NIA and Rifleman posts in Assam Rifles. The usual eligibility is 10th pass with the age limits given in the notification. Selection has four stages: a computer-based exam, PET and PST, a medical examination, and document verification.
